i have two pregnant ghost shrimp in my 10 gal and noticed this in the tank floor. Are these shrimp eggs? And if so were they just discarded by the shrimp? I’m not sure if shrimp have live births or lay eggs so I am a bit confused.

sorry i'm late but yes those are dropped eggs, quite common in first time mum, to get ghost shrimp to survive you need to have two tanks running, the one with eggs would be put in the other tank now and left until they hatch you then move the mum back to the main tank and rare the young until big enough to be moved in with the adults, the reason for this is ghost shrimp eat their young.
