There gold rams and could you show us a pic of the ones with the orange heads. They look like koi rams.
You might be right about them being koi rams. However, the other once are Pseudetroplus maculatus. Also called Orange Chromide.

What do you think? Slowly replacing silk plants with live. Researching low maintenance plants that will fit in my 5 gal. without overwhelming it.

Just had to evict a very large and untamed knot of Hydrilla from my aquarium....it still looks like a teenagers unmade bed but at least the fish can find their way around without having to fight the resident Triffid

My second Ciano Aqua 80 arrived today. It will eventually be the new home of my irritable Kissing Gourami pair (or maybe just one of them, still undecided on that) Vettel & Hamilton

Unlike my first aquarium, this one has artificial plants (the orange parts in there are the plants, not fish), also in there are smooth stones, Aquael Airlight in blue, Mopani wood, white silica sand, black gravel, natural gravel and two pipe swimthroughs

I shall be moving one or both Kissers in a few weeks and maybe adding other fish too, that really depends on the Gourami's behaviour

My tank is the natural setup and my sons tank is the community one with the ornaments.

My natural tank is home to kuhli and java loaches (6 total), two cory cats, and a dwarf gourami (though the tank has some molly fry, they arent permanently staying--just until theyre big enough for the community tank).

The community tank has a dalmation molly, a betta, and three black skirt tetras. Once the molly fry are bigger they will move there until they find new homes, but ill be keeping one.

Both tanks run on 20gal HOB filters even though theyre 10gal. 1-2 a week water changes, or as needed.

Newly set up, still foggy and the wood is starting to leach tannins, but so far I'm happy with it! My first acrylic tank, it's 40 gallons. Those box filters will be moving out once I make sure the new hob is running smoothly. More live plants to come too! This will be home to albino aeneus and Trilineatus cory catfish

Yes, I got magic erasers, I've heard they're the best to use. It's not so big that I'll need a magnetic scraper, I can pretty much reach everywhere except I might have to stand on a small stool for the back. I hope mine will be as crystal clear as yours are once it's settled!
Careful with magic erasers. I used them on my plastic breeder box and it's got a dull haze now.

I set up a 30 gallon rimless for my corydoras. Orange lasers (12) and Agassizii (6). They're kinda skittish so I put some Praecox as dithers but they're just as skittish. I threw in 8 guppies and 3 went MIA overnight but the others are settling in and seem to act like typical carefree guppies. I'll probably move the Praecox and add a few more guppies.

This was a few months ago. There's about 20 cories in the tank. Really.

I have two, I have a 20 gallon planted that has been established now for a while, and I recently set up a 55. The 55 still needs work with the plants as I began the process and toward the end just started putting things in because it took forever.

Both are community tanks. The 55 has tannins leaking in from the drift wood as well!

It is about two month old and I'm currently having an algae issues, but the fish seem to be doing fine!

I will rearrange all the plants later on - our local fish store has a limited number of choices, so it takes time to find what I want.
