Tank needs new sand... wash, wash, wash.. dump... #$%^.....
My perpetual problem with sand! Fingers crossed everything won't be covered in a sand film. And I had only started redoing it too! Fail. If I wasn't German I'd probably cry!
I recently had to redo a sand bed in a tank I couldn't get the last inch or so of water out of. First time EVER working with new sand with any water what so ever in the tank. You better believe I washed and washed....and washed that sand. Then filled it up reeeeal slow. If turned out pretty good though.

Got a few pics to share on my phone...

Above is my partners Cherry Shrimp tank

Above is my Guppy tank, with 4 Gold Rams, a Panda Cory, 3 Shrimp and 2 Dwarf Frogs.

Lastly, one of my main tanks, my pride and joy. Some of the fish in there shouldn't be together, however have grown since small and seem to accept each other. Stay to their own territories.

Got another tank, no pics of that one though. That has a Musk turtle, a large catfish and 3 African Clawed Frogs.

Check out my African Cichlid Community Fish Pond. Its a 4 feet deep fish pond. I dont know exactly how much water it holds . Its got a lily plant , a bunch of african cichlids, a pair of convicts and their fry, a dozen zebra danios who mostly just hang around on the surface of the water ( havent been eaten yet ) , 6 Zebra Loaches , a sole rainbow bosemani.

I’ve only shown my tank a few times but this is my 80 litre tank with my betta fish (mushu) a few shrimp and some endlers! Waiting for my two tiger lily plants and my carpet plants to take hold!I’ve just added the bigger driftwood and cleared out a lot of plants at the back. Let me know what you think guys
