Title says it all post n boast them chiclids everyone!!!!!

These photos are a little out dated but those are some of the species I own ;D

fishpatch, mind me asking what cichlid is in #2? These are my Bolivian Rams, pretty sure they are a pair, but they haven't spawned yet.

The species from top to bottom are
1- Nimbochromis venustus
2- dimidiochromis compressiceps
3 -dimidiochromis compressiceps (same fish as photo 2)
4- lichnochromis acuticeps aka malawI gar.
5 - cyrtocara moorI aka blue dolphin
6 - Nimbochromis livingstonii
And last but not least my most rare cichlid
7. Tyrannochromis nigriventer

In this same tank I also keep a Taiwan reef, Orange hybrid peacock, placidochromis milomo, and a few other cichlid I also keep a 12 inch rhino pleco with them

Absolutely beautiful fish they look fintastic!!!

That sounds like an amazing tank! Beautiful fish. Thanks for telling me the species, I had seen that one cichlid before, but didn't know the name. Thanks for the compliment on my bolis.

Very nice peacocks they are showing good color. Your aquascape looks really nice aswell

I do not own any dorsigera my current 125 stock list is
Taiwan reef
C. MoorI (dolphin)
Creamsicle peacock

And last but not least my rhino pleco.

Wow, that's a gorgeous fish Leodiaz. Fishpatch I know this is a cichlid thread, but I must say your pleco is really nice.

Thank you!! I recently added him and he is the first pleco species I've had do well with the chiclids I have in that tank!!!

Wow that black and blue is breathtaking

Thank you he can turn on and off his color but now that he is the alpha he has his color on 95% of the time. And he can get even bluer when he is trying to be dominant.

tyguy7760 Can I ask how big your Laetacara Dorsigeras are? I'm considering them in the future. Looks like you have them in a community - they look great!

Mine are about 2.25 inches from nose to beginning of the tail. The crazy thing about these fish are they never look the same. Their coloration changes all the time. I'm not sure if that is typical for the species or not

Thank you! Yes - he's the same one - "opal" variety.

Chiapaheros grammodes, one of my favourites. I had one brought into a shop. It jumped from its bucket into the sump of a freezing cold plant tank (you honestly couldn't keep your hand in for long it was that cold). It didn't want to come out again, lol. Dumped back into warm, took it all in her stride....

As always Hampalong is correct. I've had him for 3 years and most of the time he plays well with the others.
