Mines nowhere near as gorgeous as all of yours! I'm planning to upgrade it with more live matter (like some driftwood and java moss etc)Just changed mine up the other day! Don't mind the algae (was a bit of a fail for introducing some otos - I had to move them less than 48 hours after due to my Bettas aggression) Elvis likes it though and I'll have to put some elbow grease on the algae during his wc tomorrow
I ended up redoing mine, added sand, removed all the leaf litter except 4 leaves, gave them each a wisteria plant.
I'm not really happy with it yet. I want a black divider, but I can't get the black sheet at my walmart so I gotta check out a craft store that's out of my way.
I'm thinking about other plants, ones that aren't root feeders, I don't know. I'm just not happy with it.
What plants are those? They are so (no Offense) big and crazy looking all together....that's exactly what I want to do for my tank! Here are 3 of 5 of mine. They are all just a mess of plants! I'd love to rescape them but the fish seem to like swimming through all the plants and resting on them!
WISTERIA?? I just added some to my tank........Wisteria, water sprite and swords all growing into each other. The wisteria is the main offender. They grow into every other plant I have (even sideways into the substrate) and basically took over the 2nd tank. I trim it so often. I have planted 5 tanks from (I think) 4 stems.
