HI all, let me first say I am a firm believer in Quarantine of ALL new fish.
so, here is my question. many of you know I have a Discus tank now, they are all doing extremely well. and eating very well. with that said, I was not considering any tank mates with this group, but now am reconsidering and thinking of putting a group of corries in with them to help keep the uneaten flakes and more so the uneaten freeze dried blackworm pieces cleaned up. I like the idea of the corries better than I do the BN.
So, I have a group of corries in a 55 gl tank downstairs that I am considering adding to the Discus upstairs. I have had these corries for about 6 months, obviously not wanting to put my Discus in any kind of danger at all, do I still need to QT the corries in a separate tank or since they are not new can I put them directly in with the Discus.
looking for everyones point of view please. thanks
