Normally don't get pest snails for my puffer but huddy at pet store had a ton so I got a bunch of pond snails for free. Shoukd I qt them or just feed them to my puffer? TexasDomer MJDuti

I would quarantine them. Maybe put them in a completely clean environment with some algae wafers (if they'll eat that) to "flush" previous things they've ingested through their digestive tracts. Not sure how long you'd need to quarantine for but if you did 100% water changes every day while they flushed themselves out I'd call them safe in a week, maybe two.

I never QT'ed my snails, and I don't think you need to before feeding them. I would feel comfortable just dropping them in as needed for feeding.
