Should I Get A New Heater

I've had this 50 watt heater for... ten years, give or take. It does its job, the only problem is that it doesn't seem to adjust its heat output no matter what I do. I can push the settings down to 65 degrees but the water temperature is still a toasty 80 degrees. Room temperature's around 68 degrees so it's got nothing to do with these high temperatures.

I guess it's not a huge problem since my fish are all tropical anyways, but what could be wrong with this thing? Or is it just too powerful for a 10 gallon tank, as much as I doubt that's the case?

10 years is definetly old for a heater id replace it because id be worried it would blow up or something.

Okay. Got a brand you would recommend? (I'd prefer it to be fairly inexpensive if possible)
