Should I add Cory catfish or cardinal tetras first?

I just finished cycling my planted 29 gallon and I plan on getting fish today or tomorrow (I’ve done heavy research) and should I add 3-4 JuliI cories or around 4-5 cardinal tetras first? I’ve heard that cardinal tetras need a well established tank but at the same time I’m more worried about my cories, but at the same time they’re more hardy, so which one should I add first and how much of each? Also, should I wait a week or two before adding more or more like a month?

I'd let the substrate ripen a bit for the Corys, so I'd.add the tetras first.

I agree with doubledutch; I added my danios first then after months I added my JuliI cories. to my knowledge, cories are more sensitive to water conditions due to their armored skin. I love my cories so much though, they're so great to have in tanks, so for their wellbeing, patience pays off.

If your planted tank has been set up for six weeks it will be cycled (without ammonia being added) and then it doesn't matter what you add first.
