    Hi :)
I commented in your other thread.
If you could post your parameters (readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate)it would help the members who know about sharks rule out water problems.
When did you start the tank?

Again, as mentioned in the other thread, I'll let someone who knows more about sharks comment.

    Best of luck :)

Thank You Lucy. My Nitrite is 0.2
I am getting my ammonia and nitrate checked by my local fish store.
    I have a 40 gallon tank. It's been running for about 2 1/2 months- 3 months now.

Hmm... I've had my RTS for over a year now and until a few months ago it was very anti social. I've found that stimulating a natural environment helps. Do you have lots of live plants, and various caves for him to hide in?
Also I've noticed that my shark seems to be nocturnal, dimming the tank lights seems to have encouraged him to be out and about more often.

    When did you get him?

If you just got him let him adjust

Is there anything else in tank?

These are all answers i need to find out whats going on

Hello. When I put my Red Tail Shark into my 155g I didn't see him period, for 6 weeks. I thought he had perished. Surprise! He just happened to show up one day and he hasn't hidden since.
I think yours will be ok as long as your water chemistry is ok (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate).
