HI all! I’m hoping someone can help me determine the sex of my two peacock Gudgeons. I’ve had them for a while - maybe 6 months or so? I believe they’re both female, and if I can determine that, I’d like to get 2 or 3 more - 1 male and 1/2 females.
They’re not at all aggressive toward each other, and they seem streamlined. They don’t have the hump? I also realize they don’t have yellow bellies, but I’ve read that doesn’t always show without a male present.
Here are some photos. If better pics are needed I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks!!

If I am correct, both are female, due to the lack of a cephalic hump and the black trI'm on the analfins.

I personally think top looks female and bottom looks male. I'm no expert though. Just looks like the bottom one has more of a hump on the head.

Thanks for the responses! Seems like I may have been right. Or maybe only partially right
