I went to the store two days ago just to look around.... and you know what happened next lol I went home with two fish.

I saw this tank with at least 20 gobbies and they look great! a bit pale but ive seen picture of them before and I know they are stunning! I know nothing about them so I looked up online quickly how to sex them so I can take a female and a male home but I'm not sure if that's what I got. What do you guys think?

I tried asking the girl in the fish section but she didnt even know the name of the fish of course she works a Petco so I'm not surprised!

I think this is the female

Hi, they're beautiful, I'd say you've got a pair there, female top, smaller & with the distinct yellowy orange belly & male below, bigger in body, bigger more rounded head & more colourful, hope they breed for you. I have 2 pairs of peacock gudgeon (gobies) in my tank but no fry as yet.

Great! I'm excited! thanks for the reply.

I need to get them a tube or a little cave so they can breed. I'm just trying to find something that would not take away the natural look of my tank

I've used a small terracotta clay flower pot, cut it in half longways with a hacksaw & covered them with moss to camouflage them.
