How long have you had your 3 females together, Allie?
I actually have all 4 females together...this is day 4...no aggression yet. The pecking order seems to be Jewel, Holly, Lily & Molly. How long have you had your 3 females together, Allie?
Oh yeah we have plan B...I have 3 10 gallon & a 5gwhich can be split up plus the 3 gallon is empty I have space for all 6 of my betta ...Don't worry I am watching the girls closely. Their tank is right besides the couch & pc in the living room.Oh Allie, I really hope it works. I would so love to have a tank with 4 females. I know of someone who's got 4 couples actually, but his tank is soooooooooooooooooooo big and heavily planted.
I know you're really experienced, so please don't take this as patronizing, but do you have a plan B in case you do see aggression? I've heard so many horror stories of people finding their fish badly hurt in the course of one day.
lol...I had to make myself slow down...I was going to get a 90g this week...it was for cheap BUT I thought about it...realized I was getting a little too mts-ish. The only tank which has my bf's fish in it is the 120g...all the little one are my babies. We are moving after xmas so I don't think we need another heavy tank to move.Oh yeah, I see it.
Cool, so many tanks! You've obviously got your boyfriend well fish-trained to accept them! After my last little shopping spree (tank number 8), husband kindly requested me to slow down, LOL.
P.S Moved the thread as all the chit chat between pictures in photo galleries gets removed regularly.
ok..cool. I have been looking at other sites which people have a sorority tank to see how theirs are going & how long. Trying to get tips etc...Oh it's not a friend. It's a fellow poster on another forum. Tried to find it again but I can't. I'll try again later.
Thanks...yeah the snails are very interesting....you need a male & a female for them to reproduce. I didn't know that.I've just sent a message on the other forum, asking them to point me in the right direction.
I've just checked your blog. Cool stuff, Allie!
You are totally making me want to get an apple snail.
Cool. Do you reckon a yellow and a blue one will be the same species? Also, how do you tell male/female apart?
Oh, and how bad are they at polluting? I heard they were pretty bad.
OK, do you know what? Starting a thread on this.
