HI guys,
I’m cycling 10 gallons tank for betta and I planted the aquarium. So far everything goes nicely. I got some snails that look like Malaysians, and they do not mind cycle. I added drift wood to add tannins for betta, and I’m waiting for carbon filter to handle excess tannins because I would like a bit clearer water. I plan to dilute my tap water with distilled because tap water is very hard.
Did I forgot anything?

The betta will love the tannins and they will dissipate over time (unless you add them back). As long as you have adequate surface agitation, water that's between 78-80 degrees, a cycled tank and things to explore the next is deciding on food. Most bettas will eat anything you offer them. I like frozen foods or live foods but pellets are just as good.

Looks great!
