I thought I'd share these cute pictures/story with all of you! All of the Kawarthas and surrounding areas(where I live) was hit with a pretty bad snow storm last night. I sent my 2 dogs out to go to the bathroom in our in closed yard his morning, and Charlie our Bichon, Maltese Terrier came in looking like this. He looks so ashamed in the second picture XD

That's funny. Did you give him a warm bath to get that snow off?

No, we used the blow dryer to get it off. Another funny story, he actually enjoys the blow dryer We set it on warm and as low as it can go, he doesn't enjoy the sound very much but he deals with it for the warmth lol.

How cute!
The 2nd pic....he looks like his little feetsies are cold! lol

We used to have Shih Tzu's.
They'd get those snow balls on their feet/legs. too.

Same thing happens to my poodle when she's fluffy in the winter! She's not a fan, I must say.

Charlie isn't too happy when it happens either lol.

I totally forgot about that, we'll have to pick up a pair at petsmart today.

One of the more interesting differences I notice between our dogs and our cats is that the cats always wait until the dogs clear a wide path in the snow for them.
I really used to find it neat when we had a Newfoundland, and after he got settled in the snow, all the cats would curl up in his stomach area--he looked like a foster father.
I also like the way cats will, if they find snow out one door, check out another door--there's real optimism---rick

Charlie'll do that! He'll wait until our bigger dog(pure boxer) runs around, frolicks and basically makes a path, then when its pretty much cleared he'll walk threw her footprints the best he can. Its really cute.
They curled up near his tummy? That sounds really cute. I could only imagine
That is quite optimistic, I like that!
