I just want to know, are their other clear/see-through community friendly fish that can go with Ghost Catfish? What about inverts (I do know about ghost shrimp through)

I believe there are some clear tetras. Xrays maybe? There are also the glass fish

Wow. glass fish look neat-o! Are xray tetras really see-through like ghost catfish, or are they cloudy-see-through?

I believe more cloudy see through. TexasDomer can you think of anything else that is see through?

For inverts ammanos are nice, more peaceful than ghosts and have a few markings.

Texas: It's about 30 gallons; planted tropical

Platy: I thought Amano shrimp are brown? Or is that a special breed?

I've never had brown Ammano. They have a brown line down their back and a few red/brown dots. But that's it. Maybe a brown ish tint. But here's mine-

Oh... Thanks Platylover!

And TexasDomer, bloodies look cool!

I also have come up with that I will keep triops! They seem to do fine with amano shrimp and minnows/guppies/livebearers.

Platylover do you know where I could get about 6 amano shrimp for under 20 dollars? Also, are they just like RCS - 5 per gal.?

I looked on Trinsfish and they are 2.75 per shrimp. I believe it's the same. I highly suggest them as they are so much fun to watch and are great algae cleansers!

Thanks! I have some aggressiveness in the tank, so first I will get some cheap ghost shrimp to see if THAT will survive then I will try amano shrimp!

And Platy? Is amano or ammano? When you started using it, I got confused...

It's amano shrimp, but I believe it's common to use it either way.
