20 Gallon Tank Second filter?

HI guys! I have 4 male guppies, 1 honey sunset gourami, and am soon going to get 8 cherry barbs. I think I'm in need of more filtration. Any suggestions on a high quality one for a 20h? Canister or H.O.B. I currently have the Aqueon QuietFlow 20.

 

If you were interested in keeping the aqueon running, I would augment it with a tom rapids minI canister. The 2 filters would be excellent filtration.

 

Thanks Jaysee! Are those pretty popular filters that I would be able to pick up at lfs or do you think online is the best/only place to get them?

 

I think online is the best way - I got mine for $23. A LFS may carry it.

I looked into those on Amazon and they have a pretty good rating. But did you have to replace any parts like others said they had to?

 

yeah, I threw out the mechanical/chemical media and went with an AC50 sponge instead.
