Seahorses will be here either Wed or Thurs. Excitement!

HI all!
I am super pumped-the Angel in my 120 gallon tank is fine-all the livestock is doing well!
My 55 gallon tank is ready to house seahorses! Yeah! They will be here on either Wed or Thurs-depending on if the seller ships tomorrow!
My one question-I had some hair algae in that tank so I got two sea hairs. Will these guys be okay with the sea horses or should I move them to a refugium?
I am so pumped up about the sea horses!
This is one pair and I have a second pair of lighter yellow and yes, I know they will change color depending on their tank.

I need a few to tackle the hair algae that came in some live rock additions-thoughts?

Thank you petaddiction, to be safe I may pull the sea hares and put them in the other tank.

 

My wife has been wanting sea horses but I'm just not ready to take the saltwater plunge. Congrats on your new additions!

 

Thank you Chris99! It is a lot of work to begin with and it is much easier to get in trouble. Lots of testing initially and daily tests for some things such as salinity.
I am really hooked now though! There is something about the blue lights shining on corals that are gorgeous and that I was able to grow, well amazing!
I have wanted seahorses since I was a little girl in the day of comic books and the ads in back! I never had one as a child-thank goodness!
