    Hello!

I want to ask what impact will it have if I use Seachem Meridian Sand to create a river in my aquascape. Will it raise my PH too high?

I am currently using ADA Amazonia Aquasoil for the rest of my aquascape and my tap water parameters are:
    PH: 7.4
    KH: 1°
    GH: 2°

My plan is to grow plants such as jave fern, ludwigia, anubias nana with a dwarf hair grass carpet and to have some cardinal tetras and rainbowfish.

I also have some pool filter sand on hand if I can't use the Meridian.

    Thanks.

In my experience substrate doesn't have a large impact on ph. And anyway Tetras and Rainbowfish are fine in ph up to 8.3ish

What about the plants. Don't they need a lower PH.
