Scissortail Rasbora School With Other Fish

Hello,
I have one scissortail rasbora, (used to have 3) but two of my boys, Edger and Alan, passed away from a possible septicemia outbreak in my 10 gallon tank. the tank has since been treated, but Poe, my 3rd rasbora, has no schooling buddies. I have three guppies with him, but they don't school with him. I'm getting ready to upgrade them to a 20 gallon long pretty soon and would like to know what kinds of fish, if any, would school well with a scissortal rasbora.

IMO most fish would be happiest schooling with their own species
also scissortails get really big and the 20 gallon might not be enough (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this point though because all I know about scissortails has come from books)

The larger the tank, the better. I'd go for a 36" or 48" tank for them. If you upgraded to a 55, you could increase their school to 10 or so, and they would love it!

TexasDomer, I wish I could get a 55g! -_- Quite unfortunately, I have an old house that the floors might not even support a 40g. I think the biggest I can go is a 29g.

You'd be surprised, your floor may be able to hold it! There are others who can advise better if you can give a few more details on your home's construction.
