Saw this Betta on an adult cartoon

One of my friends was watching a TV show called Archer. I never really got into it, but I couldn't help but notice that one of the characters had a pet betta fish. I just absolutely lost it at the look of the face on this fish. At one point someone says to him "Oh what so you're just going to sit there and pout?" And he makes this face...




I feel like the animator did a perfect job and capturing the grumpy look that all male betas have.

Apparently his name is Germaine.

 

The animator definitely nailed it! Bettas are so funny- they're by far the most interactive fish I've ever had. Except they're scowling the whole time they're trying to get their humans' attention through the tank glass

 

Very much the "GET OFF MY LAWN!!!" fish. Grunpy old man face....our personalities match perfectly!

 

Archer is one of my favourites. Definitely an adult cartoon and also not something for people with too many sensibilities. Dark(est) humor.

Is that in the latest season? Haven't seen it yet. Can't remember the fish.
(Edit: Nevermind, it's been in season four. That was 9 years ago.)
