Sand air stone?

Anyone use a sand air stone? I found one today, they're made from compressed sand. Are they any better than regular air stones?

Not sure but since it's made of sand I would think it would disintegrate faster... but since it's not made whole I would think there would be more holes to blow air out making tinier bubbles?

Hello Bettadude. I don't think I have ever heard of a sand air stone. Does it work well? I've only used the regular blue or green ones.

That's what I thought too. You would think would fall apart. I never even heard of them.
