Same sex pair

freshwaterbegginer154

i recently was gifted a 30 gallon tank and was wondering what to do with it. i watched some videos about stocking ideas and one mentioned keeping an angel pair. i've always loved angels and thought it would be a great idea, however the stocking video gave the idea of a pair of angels as a breeding project. i don't really have any interest in breeding, i've already done breeding before and it just wasn't my thing, but i still love the idea of a pair of angels. can you keep two female angelfish together? or even male? i assume two males together won't work since it's that way for lots of fish species but it can't hurt to ask. if same sex pairs can't work together, is there anything i can put in the tank with them to eat the eggs a male female pair will spawn without the angels killing them? sorry for lots of questions, thank you in advance!

Two females could work, I’d be worried about 2 males. I would stick to just 1 Angel in a 29/30g though
