Hello all
I work at Walmart and due to end of season the only sand we have is this but I don't know if it's aquarium safe ImageUploadedByFish Lore Aquarium Fish Forum1473026777.769649.jpg
They use it for cars to get out of ice when theyr stuck
Any idea if it's safe?

That stuff should be fine to use, just be sure to rinse it really well first. I've use the same type (different brand) before with no problems.

It's full of calcium carbonate. It'd be great for a mbuna tank, but if you're keeping soft water fish you may want to pass.

It probably won't do much damage, but it will raise the pH and KH quite a bit over time.
