Rummy's

I got 5 of these little critters last week, and I've read posts on here that says that they're hard to care for. But so far everything is great with them. They stick together and it's made me now want to get a 10 g for them and only have small tetra's in there, I love watching the whole group of them dart around. I've had no problems with bullying by the other fish... they appear very happy.

Anyone else out there have Rummy Nosed Tetra's that's had a good experience with them?

Back when I had them years ago, I had a school of about 20 in a 55 gallon tank.
It was impressive.

Just goes to show 2 very important things about fishkeeping.

1) Buy healthy fish from a clean source.

2) If you meet the needs of the fish, it should stay healthy.

The pet store I went to was amazing. It was just a little mom and pop store about an hour from where I live, the owner was very knowledgable.

I have 6 of these guys, and they are among my favourite fish - now that they've been in my tank for a while, they've coloured up spectacularly! They're really fun to watch, too, because they're so active. I lost three to ich a couple of weeks ago, and while I was treating the tank, with only 3 rummies, they seemed fairly happy even then - but with 6 they are just awesome
