My husband wanted to help me with my tank water changes. He went to the store and bought a hose that has fabric on the outside and I think it may be rubber on the inside. We flushed the new hose for a few minutes before we used it to fill the tank. Did I do something wrong by using this hose or should it be ok to continue to use it?

It should be just fine to use.

if its one of those scrunchy hoses thats what i use. Technically only the white hoses are drinking water safe but looking back i used to drink water from a green hose and i survived. Lol

Thank you everyone for making me feel better about the hose. I have nothing to worry about. This is a wonderful forum.
