I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to smooth the rough edges in a piece of driftwood I got for my aquarium. I have a betta and don't want his find to snag on this semi gnarly piece of wood.

If there are really pointy spots, you can trim them with heavy gauge scissors, but otherwise, as Delta5 says, sandpaper will finish it off just to your liking.-----rick
you may wish to rinse it afterward, a minor matter.
