Rosy tetra always up in one corner, hevily with eggs.

So for a long time now one of my female rosy tetras has had egg in her belly. She won't lay them anywhere and the males seem to have given up on her. Recently she's always in the top left corner of my tank, her fin sometimes touches the waters surface. I had a background put up that has a mossy rock on it and I read they like to lay eggs on that kind of thing so I'm wondering if she perhaps is up there because of that? She is very pale compared to the others.

She just won't lay her eggs and im worried. I don't see her eat much either

 

I'd say this fish is sick / eggbound maybe.

 

To get tetras to lay eggs it takes fitting water parameters. This is a girth past eggbound, I would say it's sick, too. But what... dropsy is just a symptom. Could be anything really.

Use the emergency template, maybe somethings comes up that way.

I would think eggbound, as she is still active in the tank. any idea how to help an eggbound tetra?

now that i look at it, she has dropsy for sure... and its late stages as her scales are indeed rising ive read that in late stages such as this it might be better to euthanize?
