I recently aquired some dwarf sag for my ten gallon planted aquarium. After doing long research and asking many questions I have recently learned that they are mainly root feeders.

Therefore, today I will pick up some root tabs. My question is: will my other plants like the tabs too? I have some anubias nana, classic java fern, windelov java, and a crypt undalata. I am currenlty dosing flourish comp. 1ml three times a week. Will this be to many ferts if I continue dosing my flourish comp the way it is and put one root tab under my ferns and crypt along with the grass?

Any advice would be great thanks?

I believe that anubias and java ferns take most of their nutrients through their leaves and are not heavy root feeders. The crypt however would benefit, in my opinion. I use both root tabs and flourish comp. in my 10 with no problems. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than I will be able to give you more complete information.

The crypt is the only plant that would benefit for the root tabs.
