Rogue's ROAK!

RogueAgent94
  • #1
HI all! This ROAK is for my LARGEST Magenta Mystery snail. None of my snails are doing well in my tank and seem to be dying off. I want to rehome them as soon as possible. I think it is because I have manganese in my water. Anyway, to win the ROAK you need to guess what I am getting next week in the mail. You may have one guess per post. I will 'help' a little to direct the flow of the guesses. I will also give you THREE hints. #1 mid sized fish #2 livebearer #3 not wild. So don't guess Tiger Endler! You must be specific. You will get one snail if you guess correctly. I may choose other winners if they are very very close. You just have to pay shipping which should be no more than $6. Let the fun begin!!

I think I'm going to die here... This was a BAD idea ;D

Okay! Maybe I'll send you one anyway if I have one left.
Seahorse?

No.. lol. Freshwater
Sailfin molly, mutant platies or maybe Limias
Very close on species but you listed three guesses not one. So I guess you'll just have to figure out which one.

Livebearer, huh?

Mermaids.

Yesssssss!
He said domestic, not wild, duhh!

But but but!! I bet I could domesticate them quickly. Besides, most Mermaids I've seen are cute ;D
Dermogenys

Uhh... no.

I don't even want the snail lol, I just want to know what you're getting!!! xD

Please, if you don't want what is offered, please don't participate in the RAOK.
Some one who might actually want what is offered may not post if their guess has already been posted.

Thank you.

Rogue:
Thank you for the RAOK.
Sorry for the OT post.

Nope. So far you are closest with your first post Cichlidnut. Here's another hint. It is a different color variant of a species of mid-sized, non-wild, livebearer I have kept recently.

Rogue, I think you've got a platy problem

I've got several tanks I could put your snail in!

Also, are your platies going by the name of painted platies?

It's not my fault!! I didn't even buy them. I believe my brother has a death wish

Nope. They were originally called Rainbow platies but now they are called Bumblebee Platies.

can you post a pic? the fish I know (and bought!) as a rainbow platy couldn't be described as a bumblebee platy! not unless you are a blindman in sunglasses!!

;D It used to be called a Rainbow Platy because as it was being strain bred it had a lot of green and blue on it along with yellow and black. The name kind of stuck. I will post a picture as soon as I get them.

-_- I almost bought one today!! I might go back and get it. Maybe not... who knows I'll make up my mind eventually.

Also, I'm just letting you all know that if I have any snails left when I ship them tomorrow I'll put up another ROAK. I will continue on this thread unless the mods ask me to make a new one.

What will the terms of the new contest be? Or will they be revealed at the time of the contest?

I have a good question you should ask! "What does the '94 in your username stand for?" Me: Birth year. I win!!! Now hand me the snails, Jonny!

Alright guys! I have exactly THREE snails left. Two magentas and one ivory. There will be exactly THREE winners and no more lol. I want to ship these guys out on the 10th of July so this ROAK ends on the 9th!! The contest is for best BABY picture! Rules are that it can be of any kind of animal. No insects (aquatic inverts excluded). So if you have a picture of your new puppy/kitten/chick/fry post it! You are allowed to enter three pictures. If you post one and then take another one later just add it to your first post please.

The judges include two fish breeders from Hong Kong, one bird breeder from Chennai, a cat breeder from New Delhi, a dog/reptile breeder from Moscow, and myself!! The judges are evenly distrobuted around the world and three are lovely ladies and three are dashing gentlemen. So there everyone has a fair chance. Also I might add that quality of picture doesn't matter. Cuteness overcomes all

Winner will pay shipping costs. There might be extra prizes for people who did not win a snail. It all depends on how much we like the pictures. To be able to judge the pictures I will save the pictures and show them to the other judges via skype. So if you don't want me to be saving your picture please don't enter your picture. I will delete pictures after the contest is over.

Have at it

He said winner pays shipping. A 7-year-old cat is sort of like a kitten, right..?

;D Winner covers shipping. Hm... good question. Baby means anything under 2 years old IMO.
