He died yesterday of penumonia. Probably the best aquascaper in the world, certainly the best known.
Omg.... That's so sad. RIP.. I looked up to him so much.
RIP Amano. Definitely admired his work.
Wow, that's sad. RIP.
May you rest in peace, Amano...... :'( :'( :'(
Where did you hear about this?
Interesting. The only place I can find mentioning his death is Wikipedia, nowhere else. It says he died yesterday of pneumonia.... maybe someone made that up?
Maybe. I researched it a bit too, and it isn't even showing up on Wikipedia.......
I googled it too, ", Amano Takashi, born July 18, 1954 - August 4, 2015) "
Yeah, but it only shows that from a result on Wikipedia.
It's evidently also on a Japanese state news site - in case you read Japanese -
Well, I just think about it this way. It won't show up on his website or anything because his family is probably grieving and I don't know. I just think if it's true it's sad, if it's not then that's good. But I guess we'll see if anywhere else says something.
I doubt it'd be on a Japanese news site if it weren't true.
I think you missed these two posts BDpups. I deleted mine because I was ninja'd....and the top post of these two gave a link that proves that it probably wasn't faked.
Thanks. This is too bad. He was the best.
I guess it's true.
Yeah, RIP. Sad to hear.
Okay, thanks guys. Very sad indeed.
Yes, he was much too young.
