Rimless 22 Gallon Long Lighting Reccomendations?

I just ordered a 22 gallon long rimless tank. 35.82 inches long x 11.81 inches wide x 11.81. I am looking for a good light for it but as usual I am overwhelmed by Googling different options. I plan to set it up as low tech for now so no Co2, but still going to have a decent amount of low light plants for a school of rummy nose tetras and corydoras.

I was looking at the Twinstar series lights (such as the S or SA) with a dimmer, which might be overkill for a low tech tank. But I don't mind investing into a good light that I might want to use if I decide to transition to high tech in the future. The Twinstar SA is $320 which is pretty pricey, so that is for sure my max budget.

Does anyone have any experience/recommendations for a light for this sized tank? It does not seem to be as common so researching a light for it is proving to be a little difficult.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Twinstar s series is very bright, especially for a 22 long which is so short. E series is more than fine for high tech on a 22 long.

On my high tech tank I use a chihiros wrgb2 60, a good low tech choice imo is a finnex stingray (I think they have 36 inches?). I don't really know much about the lower budget options.

Thanks! The stingray looks promising. I see some amazon reviews/pictures with it on a 22 long as well. Another thing I meant to mention is I was concerned about how the light will sit on the rim and how high above the water it will be. I have had problems on a 20 long before with my light sitting too close to the top of the water giving me algae problems and not enough light distribution for plants. And I also want it to look nice on a expensive rimless tank.
We have had pretty good luck wit growing plants wit Nicrew beamswork and Finnex. Honestly I wouldn’t spend more than 100. Here is a link I found to Amazon for a Nicrew that’s $55 for the 360 light. Good luck! Any pictures of your tank?

No pictures yet since the tank is still being shipped. I am still working on planning and purchasing my equipment in the meantime. That Nicrew looks similar to the one I have on my 20 long so that would probably work fine. My only concern was if it sits too close to the top of the water, although that might not be an issue for this tank depending what plants I put in there.

I use Twinstar B on 6 of my low tech tanks. A lot cheaper than the other series and fine for low tech.

One of these is longer than yours. That one, I also had to connect to a Chihiros holder to bring it up a lot more, as the wood emerses from the tank and would conflict with the default position of a Twinstar.

Each Twinstar is connected to a time-controlled dimmer. I dim anywhere between 1 and 15% of the Twinstar's potential.
