I'm going to be setting up a 55 gallon aquarium (will be drawing up plans for it because I am combining two of my tanks into this one and upgrading one of my other tanks from a 10 to a 20 from the combined tanks, and I am going to be doing a sand waterfall in this). I will have this heavily planted because I have 12 bettas going into this (combining two sororities, their dither fish, and the other females I have not in sororities, as they were a little small to stick with others without causing harm). This tank will have a canister filter. I have everything from a moss tree to anubias and water wisteria going into this tank. the substrate will be a mix of black diamond blasting sand, eco-complete, and some blue gravel (to make a "river" from the water fall, need sand for that though). I will be building the stand for it as well, but I really need lights that can handle the depth of the 55 without frying the anubias or other sensitive plants.
Please help me find a good light. (I'm willing to spend up to 100 on the light alone.)
Thank you for any help.
Tlr I need a light that will go the depth of a 55 gallon (21"?) without frying plants and under 100$.
