Just went to my first Ohio Cichlid Extravaganza today. What a "Great" time. I was in awe of the tanks and setups. It is being held at a Holiday Inn. Ohio Cichlid Association
Mainly Cichlids, Plants and hardware from Local Breeders, Local and Nationwide Fish Farms and Stores. Unique setup. Most of the sellers have rooms at the Inn and setup their tanks and such in the rooms. There were 3 floors of rooms. They leave their door open so in essence you have approx. 50+ minI stores in one location. Wow!
Sharing some pics. Enjoy!
If you get the opportunity in your area. I highly recommend attending. Still going on until Sunday with the finale of an Auction with some say 1,000+ bags of fish and plants. The stock is AA+ and the prices are phenomenally low.

Super Reds.jpg

Anybody notice the bag of 3 Super Red Plecos, I finally decided to pick up 4 and roll the dice on a Female. Along with some caves from Pleco Caves
"Good" Folks, Family owned and Operated in Richmond, Indiana, even had their little ones with them.. I have never seen so many shapes, sizes and colors.
Maybe in the Spring I'll be joining the Pleco Breeding Club with tfreemabizaliz3 DarkOne coralbandit Mcasella

Ohio Mark
It was a good time, sadly only could spend a couple of hours due to other obligations. Could have spent all day there.
Just an idea, come Spring time when the Auctions start-up again. I am going to come down on a Saturday and get you to one my friend. And even give you some EBA if interested.

Congratulations! Super reds were on my list, but I went with green dragon instead due to supply and demand in my area.

Those heaters were around when I first started keeping fish in the late 80's. I remember them because I had to keep my water level just right so they wouldn't explode. Fully submersible were fairly new and expensive, especially for a HS student. I think this is part of the reason I keep the water level on most of my tanks above the plastic rI'm line. And now I keep most of my heaters upright like those hang-on heaters .

Looks like a well organized event.
