Poor Gealach didn't survive the move from my dorm back to my parent's house. I've had him for about half a year now, so I was fairly attached to him. My new betta girl made the move fine, but Gealach just didn't make it. Thanks for all of the entertainment and joy you have brought me, little fish. I'll never forget you, my first fishie friend! :)

Thanks everyone. He was my first fish, so it has been difficult, but luckily I have Emie (betta girl) and Dreamsicle (orange shrimp) to keep me going in the hobby. I've heard so many stories about people getting out of fish keeping after losing their first fish, I'm so glad that won't be happening to me! Gealach taught me a lot about what it means to keep a fish, and I think it is through fish keeping that I'll remember him.
