Rescued a Silver Dollar today

I have such a big heart so I squeezed in another Silver Dollar. This one is about 10"!!!! Magnificent!! I think of it as a rescue of one out of six of them out at my lfs. She was the second largest. I figure I have a 6' tank which I take good care of, so why not rescue at least one of them. Nobody wants them yet. Maybe too big for what others are looking for, or nobody has a large enough tank. I bet she's never had fresh greens before. She's gonna have her first greens with me! ;D

So, now I have 10 Silver Dollars!!

So, time to celebrate

Try soaking some food in garlic, perhaps?

That's great to hear AleyskaGirl!

Silver Dollars can be so shy and timid can't they? 10" is huge!

Best wishes and I hope you continue to see improvement.

I noticed my Silver Dollars eating the green skin from zucchinI that I feed to my Pleco. So I've also been feeding zucchinI skin, chopped, along with Romaine lettuce and they all love it. Even my Bloody Parrots are eating lettuce and zucchinI skin now. (teehee)
