Hello all. I just rescued 2 cory cats from my neighbor. The barbells are very damaged. He had them in a gravel substrate and had them for about 5 to 6 months in there. He called me to see what was wrong with them and when I went over one was dead and the other two have damaged barbells. I have sand substrate and was wondering if there is anything special I need to do for them for them to heal. I do not have a quarantine tank.

I would treat the tank with a fungal medicaiton to prevent any infections. Also, you can add garlic to the food to boost the immune system. If your lfs has them available, i highly recommend indian almond leaves which work wonders.
