Replacing Filters What To Do!?

Hi, I have the 10 gallon walmart starter aquarium I am in my first week of cycle and I feel as if the kit filter really isn't good (tetra 10i). So I picked up a aqua tech 5 to 10 gallon. How do I go about switching or do I just leave them both in until the cycle is complete?

You would need to have about 100 GPH to effectively filter the tank, so keep both filters. Leave in both and let the tank cycle.
