I have a 39 gallon stocked with a pearl gourami, a abp, and 3 angels. I got one of the angels and decided that I wanted some more so I got two others. They are quite smaller than the original one. And the two little one seem to swim together while the bigger one stays around the bottom looking around and occasional looking at the little ones and once he chased one. So I was wondering if it would be smart to rehome the bigger one so that he could have a happier life. Or mabey I should wait for the little ones to get bigger. Or something else any suggestions?

Three is a bad number of angels and if he is showing aggression towards the other it likely will not get better, you added two threats into his territory that he has not had to socialize with for a while, so he now isn't sure what exactly he needs to do.
