Hello,

Is it a good idea if i use my DIY Co2 outlet on the power head?
I saw a video where the guy was saying its a good way to dissolve much more Co2 in water than using a ceramic diffuser.

Also is this type of diffuser are good for a 7.5 G tank?

Most diffusers will dissolve co2 just fine, once you get to about 30 ppm, any co2 added beyond that is wasted. So more is not better.

Check out the Aquario diffusers, they're made of acrylic but they are very efficient and currently quite popular. If you're not getting a good flow of bubbles, it may be one of two things: the diffuser needs to be cleaned, or your working pressure is too low. On my 2 gallon my working pressure is set very low, so I only get a single stream of bubbles on my injected CO2 (keep in mind DIY has a much lower working pressure than injected). However, my plants are still pearling, and my drop checker is showing 8-15 ppm CO2. You can't assume your plants aren't getting enough just by the way the bubbles look.
