anyone have suggestions on how to reduce the flow or "power" of a fluval 204 cannister filter? I'm planning for angels and my platies in it now are kinda swirled around.. thanks!

Does it have a spraybar, or how does the water come back into the tank?

Nope. I'm tryiing to figure out how the water comes back into the tank. On my XP filters, hoses take the water to and from the filter. The hose that brings the water back to the tank has plastic tubes at the end, and the last one where the water comes out has holes the size of bb's in it. Is yours the same? In the diagram, it's part E in the 2nd diagram:

Okay, it looks like it comes out of the area that looks kind of like a vacuum cleaner attachment. Can you adjust the direction of the water flow and point it more upward?
