Anybody know any tricks to reduce filter flow? My neons keep getting pushed to the bottom of the tank whenever they swim into it.

Can't you change the direction of thw outflow? To they have other places to swim with less current / flow?

It's a hang over the back filter so I don't know how I could change the direction of the outflow.

Ok. But is it only locally ? Are there places they can swim normally?
  5. brooklynmvNew MemberMember

Yes, but I just feel bad when I see the neons get tossed around in the flow.

    Did you got them recently?

No, but recently got a new filter because other one broke. Its the same brand and size, there's just more flow for some reason.

try getting a sponge and put it where the water falls into the tank

What brand if filter is it?

You can make a baffle using a clean, empty water bottle.

I think the neons will get used to it and know where to en where to not swim pretty quick.
