HI everyone,
I have noticed that my Marineland Penguin Biowheel 200 filter is creating a substantial current in the water of my 29 gallon tank and my angelfish seems to be favoring the bottom part of the tank. What could I do to reduce the flow of the filter?
Thanks!

I used a water bottle cut in half and but it over the output. There are a lot of tutorials for this. But my angelfish is now able to tolerate the flow from the same exact filter.

I run canisters and bio wheels on the same aquariums and never had trouble with my angles. How is the aquarium set up? Wood, rock work? Plants?
but in answer to your question you could run a trough along the length of the aquarium under the filter with small holes drilled in it.

Thanks for the replies. My angel is not full grown and is about 4 inches long. The aquarium is not very heavily decorated. I will post pictures when I can. It's not too serious, just a little bit of resistance when the fish swim up to the top.
