Just had a brilliant Easter dinner at the parents and happened to find an old 30 gallon tank in the backyard filled with mosquito water and lots of lovely other mysterious derbies. Yet a free tank is a grand opportunity! Anyone have experience in cleaning these things out and tips to make them fish ready and safe.

Dump out mosquito larvae, rinse with hot water.

I have also used a 50/50 mix of bleach and water to clean and rinsed well with hot water.

White vinegar, magic eraser, rags and elbow grease :) Straight razor if necessary!
