Anyone have experience with these guys? I was told they were very hardy fish, and they were only a buck a piece, so i decided to add them as my 1st fish. (Yes i've cycled...i've been patient ) Anyone have any tips that i should know about these guys? I have three, and next week i plan on adding some Cory Catfish. What type of cory's are your favorite and how many should i add? And after that I'm not really sure what to add....but something very colorful and unique, any ideas?

Thanks

I know from expereince the serpaes are less agressive when kept in schools of 6 or more. I personally wouldn't add anything that has long fins either since the serpaes will nip the fins. Hope this helped.

Riley, did you end up getting some Corys with your serpae tetras? We just removed our serpae tetras from our tank because they were nipping and charging into our corys. The corys very rarely come out from under a log now.
