10 Gallon Tank Red Tail Catfish.

I have a baby red tail that is currently in a 10 gallon( 3 inch long catfish ). I feed him minnows but he looks pretty inactive. Is there anything I can do for him to be more active and lively. Is it ok to feed them fruits or vegetables too? If so what are the veggies or fruits recommended? What are certain things I can feed him so that he grows faster and so his tail will become more red. I will put him the 750 gallon soon. He wasn't getting food and I was afraid whether my paroon sharks would hurt him so I moved him to a 10 gallon.

I would imagine him only being in a 10 gallon is what is causing him to be inactive. I would move him into the large tank asap and monitor. and make sure he has his own hiding space.

I just went into my room and turned on the lights and I saw it destroying a minnow. So atleast its actibe when the lights are off.

When you say red tail catfish do you mean a redtail shark,I have a rainbow shark which is similar to a red tail shark and it is definitely more active at night
Nope. Catfish. They are nocturnal so.
