Can someone pl identify the issue. Initially it looked like some injury - I treated the fish with Melafix for 3 days but no result. water condition is good with no ammo / nitrite and 20ppm nitrate. Fish is behaving normally, not issue in terms to movement, eating.

Thanks

Do you have any sharp spot in your tank that s/he could cut them self’s on if so sand it down and rinse it thoroughly. Otherwise it looks like an egg spot what type of fish is it

Never mind about egg spot I was thinking of something else it could be him changing color they are very colorful fish and females tend to have red spot around that area or someone could have bit here does she have any tank mates (is it female?)

buy two more boesemanI females so everyone’s happy or remove female. Maybe remove male who got bit so if it gets infected he won’t infect anyone else
