Red Spot In My Guppy Tail

Hi, recently 3 days ago I got an ich problem, I increased the temperature to about 28ºC (82.4ºF) also yesterday I gave them some Ground ginger. But today I found a guppy that (he never got ich problems or white spots) but with a red mark (like blood) in his tail. I don't know if it is a fin rot or a damaged fin (he is my guppy the the longest tail) or if it is something related with the ich problem.
I have 12 guppies and 8 tetra neons and my tank is about 20 gallons. My ph is 7.4 ammonia 0 and I have been doing weekly 40% water changes.Only product that I use is seachem prime.

I did a little research on bloody looking spots on the tips of guppies tails. You got rid of ich, but you have a bacterial infection as well. It is fin rot. I know there's a good medication by API called fin and body cure. I never knew that fin rot could produce red spots like that, but it happens most often in guppies.

Thank you, I'm still dealing with ich, I see good progress in my fish, as most of the white dots are almost gone, but there are still some spotes, I'm going to try to find that product, but do you think there is an alternative, because I have some troubles finding apI stuff in my petco. I think that the petcos that are in my city only have seachem and tetra products.

There is a Tetras called All in One bacterial and fungus treatment. I think I saw an all in one for just bacterial too. There may be other products at your fish store for fin rot. Don't depend on the fish baggers to know what to recommend. Just ask where they keep the fish meds and read the lables yourself. Most fish baggers don't know what they're selling.

They recommended me a product based in melachite green for the ich, but after a day of usage it looks like now I'm having problems with fin rot
