Hello,

Semi-long time lurker here, first post. Have had a 32 gallon tank for the last 1.5 yrs, looking for a much larger tank now that wife has given me the green light. Really like freshwater fish and tanks, and also love the look of Red Sea tanks. Was looking at Red Sea, Waterbox, and Elos, and have tentatively settled on Red Sea Reefer 625.

There is limited information on builds using Red Sea tanks, that I can find. Is there any reason I should be concerned about going freshwater with a Red Sea tank?

Thanks in advance.

I was looking at the Red Sea Reefer Deluxe, which comes with Hydra 26 lights. However, several sites are reporting it is being discontinued as Red Sea intends to supply their own lights.

As I am not interested in growing corals, can anyone supply recommendations for good lights for a planted aquarium that look nice when mounted?
