Red Root Floaters Dos And Donts

Not sure if this is the right place for this question if not I'm very sorry.

So I'm picking up some red root floaters from a local grower and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about them such as what fertilizer I should use and how to quarantine them he said they may have ramshorn snails in them and I really don't want to add those to my aquarium.

I added a couple photos of what they look like in the Growers tank.

Thank you all for checking out my post.

Ramshorn snails really aren't a big deal. They don't eat healthy plants and their population is self-limiting. If you really don't want them, dip new plants in a hydrogen peroxide solution.

As far as fertilizers go a good comprehensive fertilizer once or twice a week should suffice. I recommend Nilocg Thrive.

Hi, I've found lighting to be more important than ferts. I only use flourish, and they've about tripled in size since I got them, three weeks ago I think.

I don't think the type of light exactly matters, mine is some cheap LED off of Amazon I got for like $8, but the ones directly under it look great and are growing nice red roots. None of them came with roots, but they're growing well.
Try not to get water on top of them, I've found they do tend to mold a bit

They won't grow well with too much surface aggitation, so running an airstone is a "don't"

Oh, I totally forgot to mention that. Mine are in a filterless tank, entirely still. You may even want to put some in cups by a window to make sure you always have a starter portion

So I just picked them up and on the way back I saw what looked like a worm and some sort of micro critter I THINK it's a female cyclops but I'm not 100% sure any recommendations on getting rid of those two creatures also I think I may have spotted a tiny micro size ramshorn snail.

Don't worry about microfauna, 99% of it is harmless and your fish will eat them.
